A beautiful walled garden in Abernyte, situated in Perth and Kinross.
The wall is formed of whin stone (basalt) on one side and brickwork on the other.
On arrival a section of brickwork had collapsed. The brickwork showed signs of not being tied in to the stone skin of the structure.
The fresh brickwork was laid in lime mortar and built in the same style and bond to honour the original work by craftsmen who built it over 100 years ago.
